One more week to go to finish 28 x 1.8Gy sessions of IGRT. Seeds will follow on October 12, 2011.

While my Gleason was 3+3=6, and my PSA is only 3.5, 8 of my 14 biopsy cores came back positive with as low as 5% and high as 80% involvement, so I chose an aggressive non-surgical treament option. This amounts to approximately a 150% perscription dose (approx. 145 Gy total).

I am expecting some urinary issues, so we will start with Flomax one week prior to Brachytherapy.
